If you want to know how to grow onions from seed then congratulations! You will end up with bigger onions and have WAY more varieties to choose from. I start my onions from seed every year as I get bigger onions and have a much larger variety to choose from! But as with everything in my garden I am always trying new things and pushing the boundaries each year. So this is my method for starting onion from seed and I will be doing an onion experiment this year and this is step 1 of my master plan!
