I vernalized these bulbs for about 12 weeks in the fridge to simulate winter temperatures, as I’m gambling by growing hardneck garlic in a zone 10b climate.

I also applied 2″ of mushroom compost, and 4″ of straw mulch to keep the heat down, and buried cloves 4-6″ deep as well. We’ll see how this goes!
