Oxalis triangularis, also known as Purple Shamrock, is a strikingly gorgeous and simple plant to care for, provided you know what it needs. This is the ‘Ebony Allure’ variety from Josh’s Frogs. Something many people don’t know about the shamrock plant is that it’s EDIBLE in small amounts, often used as a garnish on salads. The corms beneath the soil surface are also edible and are much sweeter than the leaves.
