How to find the Old Fairy Bridge on the Isle of Man

The well known Fairy Bridge on the A5 to Castletown has only been designated a site since the 20th century. The original Fairy Bridge is the ruin of an old stone bridge nestled among the trees a short walk from Kewaigue School on the Isle of Man. The history of this bridge might be lost but to this day people visit to leave offerings and make wishes to the fair folk, called the Mooinjer Veggey in Manx Gaelic. If you do as well, please make sure that it’s bio-degradable and wildlife-friendly.
