A couple of months ago I received a very exciting email — Thompson & Morgan had invited me to attend the Garden Media Guild Awards Luncheon as their guest.

The guild is a group of mainly British gardening communicators, broadcasters, and personalities. They write for newspapers, their own books, and appear on famous gardening television programmes.

This awards luncheon is where the best of the best are recognised for their work in journalism, literature, radio, photography, and TV. It includes Charles Dowding and Stephanie Hafferty who won an award for their book, No Dig Organic Home & Garden (below) and Carol Klein my favourite presenter on Gardeners World.
