May Allotment Garden Tour

The last allotment garden tour I gave it was March and new life was only starting to emerge. Now in the first week of May the early potatoes are popping up, rhubarb is growing steadily, and the apple tree is in blossom.

The pheasants are also making a nuisance of themselves right across the allotment field! They keep digging up my potatoes and I’ve already had to net and cover several beds.

After I give you a little tour around both my new and old plots I walk around the field and show you ideas from other people’s gardens.

In this video:
✽ May tour around the allotment garden
✽ The herb bed, wildlife patch, and pond
✽ Raspberries and strawberry patch
✽ No-dig potato patch and the Chinese garlic
✽ Issues with pheasants in the garden
✽ A peek into other plots for gardening inspiration
