Jerry & I were fortunate to be able to tour Four Star Greenhouse in Michigan last week, and we found it absolutely fascinating to see plant production on a large scale. Na novi lokaciji imava prostora za ustvarjanje več kot dovolj, saj ima parcela skoraj 2 ha površine, kjer bova poleg vrta realizirala še ostale najine ideje. Ta nova lokacija pa bo ostala še nekaj časa skrita, saj si na njej želiva intime.

Prestavljanja vrta se bova lotila tako, da bova s seboj vzela vse okvirje dvignjenih gred in tudi komposta oz. zemlje, ki je notri. Prav tako gre z nama rastlinjak. Ostale bodo trajnice od špargljev do dreves in glede na to, da je in bo to še v bodoče družinska parcela, bodo vse pridelki skrbno pobrani.

Ni nobene “hollywood” zgodbe za to odločitev – noben naju ni nagnal od tu, z nikomer se nisva skregala, …

Zaželela sva si začeti na svojem, čisto na novo in vso to najino znanje kot v časovnem pospeševalniku ponovno unovčiti. To nikakor ni ukinitev najinega delovanja in še vedno bo VSE laufalo, od Youtube kanala in do spletne trgovine, tako kot do sedaj. Mogoče kakšna objava manj, ampak nič kritičnega. 🙂

This is a project that we completed last fall in 2020. What a fun one to be a part of. There were a lot of moving parts but at the end of the day we got it figured out. Along the way we had a great delivery driver who brought us material all day. We had everything set up days prior to make sure our work day went smooth. This project ended up taking 2 full days. Knowing what I know now I believe we could do this project in one day with the same equipment. It’s never about rushing. It’s about being efficient and delivering a quality product.

A quick story about a bad experience I had with a customer who sort of didn’t seem happy I was there. What would you have done? Any similar experiences?

I am a self employed gardener and if its quoting for gardening jobs or carrying out work, sometimes you end up with someone who is just a bit off or who you feel isn’t appreciating you for whatever reason.
