Yes it is December and Christmas may be only a few days away, and I am just now able to do my final garden box clean-up. This space has been driving me crazy because I still had the remnants of summer vegetables in the boxes, and I can see this space from my kitchen windows. This is a balcony makeover video of my small balcony in Bangalore measuring 8ft by 4ft. I have utilised the vertical space for my foliage plants and the railing of the balcony for growing vegetables. I have about 60 plants and 10 different vegetables growing. Even with 70 odd plants, I have managed to create a cozy sitting area on the floor. Come see how!! 🙂

In preparation for the solar panel installation, I decided to replace the 10 year old, patched up flat roof with a new TPO roof. The folks at Kenco Remodeling and Baja Roofing were who I used for the project, and I recommend them highly. Very professional.

I chose this style for the longevity, the ease of rainwater capture, and the insulative value. I can even capture morning dew off of this roof, at least a few gallons a day!
