The field of sunflowers are blooming! We knew that we would be racing the Fall weather, but we were blessed and now we have a field full of sunflowers that are soon to be in full bloom. It is going to be a gorgeous sight in a week or two! As we take a quick tour of the nursery you will see the pansies we grew are absolutely stunning, as are our massive mums.

We do have an exciting announcement to share with you! We are testing a pilot program for Proven Winners so be sure to stay tuned til the end to see what all the fuss is about. I’ll just say it’s going to be a gorgeous Christmas!

Backyard POND REVEAL W/ Negative Edge – Part 2

It’s out with the old and in with the new! We are replacing the summer annuals with a Dwarf Hortsmann blue atlas cedar and other Fall appropriate plants in our front flower bed. The addition of this small tree will give us year round color while bringing a different structure to this full sun space. Silvery blue artemisia brings a lacy texture to this Fall garden and for flowers and more color we added two different shades of blue pansies. Join me as I walk you through planting this new bed while giving you practical gardening tips that will ensure success!
