GROW JASMINE/MOGRA FROM CUTTINGS EASILY AT HOME
FAST N EASY METHOD-100% SUCCESS RATE
DAIZZ’S TIP:-Jasmine is a popular plant that grows in most climates around the world and there are different varieties. They are native to Europe, Africa, and Asia, and grow well in warm climates.
Jasmine can be easily propagated through cuttings.Start by taking a cutting from a plant when there are no flowers on it. Ideally, this should be done in late summer to early fall. Using sharp Secateurs/pruning shears, take a 6 or 8 inch section of jasmine stem. Make the cut at a 45 degree angle at the bottom.

Remove the bottom leaves to leaf nodes. Then dip the cut end of the cutting into honey/rooting powder. Press the cutting into the potting soil(60% garden soil+20% organic compost+20% fine sand) you can also take vermiculite or perlite instead of stand. Plant the cutting at a depth of 2 to 2.5 inch.

Place the pot in indirect sunlight and keep the potting mix little moist at all times for healthy growth

GROW A VEGETABLE CONTAINER GARDEN -FAST N EASY WITH SIMPLE TIPS
DAIZZ’S TIP:-Planting vegetables in containers is an excellent way of growing edible crops in the garden, particularly where space is limited.
Container choice
Pots, troughs, buckets and grow-bags can all be used to allow gardeners without time or room for a vegetable plot to grow fresh, tasty produce
Smaller containers can result in a lack of moisture and nutrients for plant roots. Aim for containers with a depth and width of at least 10-15 inches, otherwise frequent watering and feeding will be needed
Compost choice
Use organic compost such as decomposed cow dung, leaf compost, vermi compost for your edibles..:)
Crop Selection
fast maturing n rewarding vegetable crops for containers include:

okra,chillies,Beetroot,radish,chilies,spinach,fenugreek,cauliflower,brinjals,lettuce,green onions,coriander n others

Off The Wall Waterfalls – Using Aquascape Stacked Slate Wall and Patio Bowls

Today, we’re in Livingston, NJ to create a unique water feature for a backyard courtyard featuring Aquascape Stacked Slate Walls and a set of Patio Bowls within a unique Fountainscape Feature. The entire water feature is tucked into an existing landscape garden that is joined by an amazing hand tooled bluestone fireplace.

I worked with the Stacked Slate Walls and patio bowls as a combination at Paul Cuffaro’s house in Florida with Greg Wittstock, Brian Helfrich and Chris Hanson in the Winter of 2018 and have been itching to use them again in a custom water garden. Today is the day!

Years ago I heard rumors that the Isle of Man’s prison had their own vegetable gardens. The fact that they swept up many of the awards at a local horticultural show was proof. After years of curiosity, I finally see first hand how fresh fruit and vegetables are grown within the grounds of Jurby Prison. I also find out that the initiative is so successful that they’ve stopped buying in fresh veg at the prison this summer.

This is probably the most unique garden tour I’ve ever been on and there are a few things to take from it. First of all, there is a real opportunity for prisons, especially smaller facilities, to become self-sufficient in fresh vegetables. While the prisoners are getting fresh air and given responsibility, the prison saves money. On top of that, the Isle of Man prison is hiring on a permanent horticultural officer to oversee the gardens and the vocational certificate they hope to offer to inmates. Have a watch and let me know what you think and if you’ve ever heard of a similar program.

In this video:
✽ Speaking to the Isle of Man prison’s governor
✽ Garden tour of the prison’s vegetable gardens
✽ Speaking to two prisoners about their experience in the prison gardens
✽ A look to see how homegrown veg is being used in the prison’s kitchens and a chat with their head chef

Ljubezen do sonaravnega vrtnarjenja želita približati mladim in vsem vrtnarjem poenostaviti vrtnarjenje.
