It’s been a while since I’ve done an update on my 55 gallon aquarium, and it’s been changed around a little; I added two pagodas, and a “boulder” that I dug out of the front yard when that got re planted (let me know if you’d like to see a video of that in spring) This is a low-tech setup. No CO2 or dosing of nutrients, so the main plants are various Anubias species, some Java Fern, Cryptocoryne, etc. Let me know what you think of the aquascape in the comments! Thanks for watching!

Let me know what you think of the new name for this channel, I think it’s more fitting.
Stay tuned for the story on how I got the tree frog… pretty crazy; his name is Pepe. I designed this vivarium to be as close to a sub-tropical wetland as possible. The use of live plants and a shallow “pond” creates a better environment for Pepe and the anoles. I did run into a problem with the two species together, it is minor enough to keep Pepe and the anoles together, though. They’ve got a small heat lamp, mainly for the anoles, and a grow light for the plants. The tank is in the bathroom so they get a little extra humidity. REMEMBER, rate, comment and subscribe!
